I'm on the pursuit of happiness.

When I was younger, I would come up with crazy ideas to do or adventures
to go on with my friends and they would always say “Yes! Lets do that!" or
“We have to do that! Right now!" and it was quite rare that any of them would
deny any of my ideas. But the older we get, the more I hear them say “You
can’t do that." or “We’re not doing that." or “I will never do that."

And it honestly hurts my heart.
It feels like the older I get, the better my friends used to be.

I know we’re all growing up and growing out of each-other while getting our
lives together, but I miss never having a dull moment with any of my friends.

I worry 24 hours out of the day, 7 days out of the week,
and 365 days out of the year. For 12 hours out of your time, could we just forget about
everything and be carefree? We already spend so much time stressing over all the
little things, let's just spend some time appreciating all the little things. Together.

We’ll never be younger than we are now but everyone sits around all day,
acting like their life is already over when it just started.

Be spontaneous!

Stay up until sunrise
Doing things you’ve never done
In places you’ve never been
With people you've never met

And just enjoy it.

We have a lifetime to worry but right now, I just want to be happy.
And that is something I can't wait for.

Busy Bee

I have not been here in such a long time! I've been busy with school and errands that I have not made time for this site. I apologize, but I promise to keep commited with this blog in following month. For the moment
I'm on finals week, and I'm out of school by the 7th of June. Something more exciting than school is happening this weekend. Today I'll be seing my older sister Marlene, which I'm excited to see. We'll be around Santa Monica's Promenade for some girl time and catching up. On Friday my friend Maggie
gave me a pass to Disneyland Grad Night as an early birthday gift, whcih I'm really thankful for. Saturday I'll be attending my very good friend, Rebecca, ugly sweater party. I'm not gonna have a hard time searching for something out of my closet. You'd find the oddest things. And last but not least, this coming Sunday I'll be turning twenty-one. I'm still not sure what I should do. I'm planing something small for myself, since it lands on a Sunday, and a lot of my friends will be out of the LA area.I thought I'd make something big for later on in June. Any ideas? Everyone is tellinhg me I should go somewhere exquisite to launch at, but I'm not in the mood for that at the moment. Lets see how it all goes. I'll keep updated, and I hope everyone is having a good Thursday so far.

Past Weeks.

I'm writing, since I have not been kept my promise on updating this blog. I was going through some family problems at home, and I have been sleeping over a friends place.Thankfully everything is back to normal. The way I've been wanting things to be for such a long time. You live with someone for almost your whole life and you never realize that you can lose sight of them in such an impacting way.The fact that you have to live with who you are is punishment enough. I will not be updating anytime soon because I've been getting a lot of homework, and midterms is just around the corner. See you guys in April and enjoy the rest of March!

Let Me Eat Cake!

January 27, 2012
I'm a bit late on this, so please excuse my last minute update.

Maria and her stickers. Very cute I'd say.

I "LOVE" this place! Alcove Cafe & Bakery is one of the best places to go if you're in the LA area ready to sit down, and have some cake with tea on the side. It's also a really good restaurant, so don't be afraid to check out the menu, and have a bite of the great gourmets they offer. Trust me, you won't regret it. Treat yourself once in a while.

If you're 21 or over don't be shy to go to the Big Bar on the side of the Bakery. The restaurant is split into two sections, and the outside front  is an open outdoor patio that's just a great place to catch up with friends, unwind, or have some alone time.
Good luck finding parking, but there's also valet parking available.

I went during 10 pm, and I didn't want to take pictures of the patio while costumers were have a good time,so I stole these pictures from google. Just so you can get an image of the front patio and the bar.

Can American youth really help save their Ugandan peers?

I finally found out what this Kony comotion is all about.

While I appreciate the criticism of invisible children because it raises important questions about the validity and limitations of the campaign, doing real research on invisible children should should show just how honest, smart and transparent they are.
It is not “white man’s guilt”, it is using the power of our privileged voices to bring awareness to an issue that was previously seen as unimportant to the American government. And in the past 6 years, we’ve already come so far. No one said tweeting was going to be the ultimate answer to all of the LRA related problems, but the more people who know and CARE about this issues, the more people in the think-tank. That cannot be a bad thing, no matter how you look at it.
So let’s #STOPKONY -Carly
